Help me give my students the resources and materials like dry erase markers, pencils, and scissors they need to keep their learning going and make it fun for them.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have the privilege of teaching a special bunch of 5th-grade students. My students are creative, energetic, and independent. Many of the students in this district are socioeconomically disadvantaged or foster children. Despite it all, they have extraordinary talents, and I'd like to help them discover them.
My students are this world's future leaders in the making!
The POTUS, United States Army Commanding General, and the doctor who will cure cancer are all in my class as we speak. They are a lively, outgoing, and intelligent group.
My Project
The way these materials will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them tools to complete the hands on activities that allows me to differentiate their instruction to their learning style and learning level.
Hands on activities help to relate our curriculum to real world situations.
Giving the students tangible work to supplement their content learned from their text is very important.
Scissors will allow my students to cut out an use manipulatives to better understand fractions, we will use markers to do independent and group work on our desk and white boards. Pencils are used for students who do not regularly have supplies with them from day to day.
