Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students at my school are full of energy and love to learn! They are so intrigued and engaged in their learning, and are so happy to be back in school this year! The student population is diverse, and we do our best to meet the specific needs of each child. Using a variety of research-based methods, we meet each child at the level they are at, and then provide specific supports and learning strategies to monitor the students' growth. It is so amazing to see students' excitement for learning!
My Project
As a new STEM teacher this school year, there are additional supplies that are needed to provide students with an engaging and organized classroom. Since all students in the school go to STEM, it is important to keep a clean and healthy classroom space with table markers, poster displays, and magnets to hang posters. Our tables have wheels on them, so having wheel stoppers will make it easier for students when building Legos and creating other building projects. Ink is used to provide colorful printout and handouts to engage students in their learning.
