Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I currently teach at a low socio-economic high school. We are in need of materials to enhance our students learning and prepare them for college. The students that attend my high school have few resources for which to acquire the books to enhance their knowledge of novels that will be referred to, and referenced by their college professors. The selection of novels and plays in this project will allow the students to be well rounded readers, and prepared for what their future educators expect them to have read. Your donation will allow the students to have access to these novels, that are expected to have been read by the time they enter college. The students in my classes will read at least three of these novels per year.
