My Students

My classroom has energetic students who want the best for their education. They're incredibly energetic and kind group of students who need to build their confidence in their skills to be successful in life.

My students deserve a chance to experience all of the exciting and fun innovations that makes learning fun.

They are passionate about their interests and really want to learn. Junior high is a tough age and they are doing their best to be successful in school.

My Project

So many junior high students struggle to enjoy reading. These two book sets are high interest books that will get the students excited to continue reading to learn what is going to happen next in the story. Both of these novel sets help me teach students about tolerance.

Esperanza Rising will help guide conversations about immigration and historical time periods.

We will also have conversations about major life changes and how poverty affects many people. The works of Poe will engage students in analyzing high interest text, and many of my students really love his work. These books will really promote a love of reading and develop tolerance.
