Ms. Brathwaite from Brooklyn NY is requesting Supplies through DonorsChoose, the #1 classroom funding site for teachers.

Class Full of Students in Need of Space Saving Storage Unit

My students need a storage center that will neatly store their toys and supplies.

My Students

As a special education teacher, it is my duty to ensure that my students have a well organized classroom environment to work in. Students who see clutter or are overstimulated can lose focus and become uncomfortable in their learning environment.

I teach kindergarten students with the cutest smiles.

My students attend a Title I public school in New York. I have general and special education students. Some of my students require organization and not a lot of clutter in order to function to their maximum potential.

My Project

The storage center is a space saving storage center that lets my students help themselves to toys or supplies they may need. The compartments neatly store and display everything they may need in an attractive center. The center I am requesting has five roomy compartments.

My project is important because I have a lot of supplies and toys that are in the back of the classroom.

When my students need something they have to move and shuffle materials around to get to what they need. I believe this center will allow my students to have easier access to supplies.
