My Students

The students in my classroom have a true love for learning. They are little active bodies that absorb everything around them and love learning new things and having new experiences. They are eager and passionate about being invested in their learning. Our classroom has several students whom are English Language Learners that thrive in the language rich learning environment. The students enjoy working as a whole, but we have seen all of the students show greater success in small group learning opportunities. We want all of the students to achieve their very best through the love and learning opportunities provided for them in the classroom.

My Project

This project will help supply my classroom and students with a class set of eWriters that will be used for reading/literacy/writing instruction, as well as math instruction. The students will have access to the technology of the eWriters as well as a hands on learning opportunity. It also provides the students with a another learning option rather than the traditional paper/pencil option.

The eWriters will not only be used for instructional purposes, but it will also help my students learn the importance of reducing our environmental waste of throwing away "expired" dry erase markers.

The students will also have to maintain responsibility for the eWriters by signing a "User Agreement" regarding the proper use and safety of having an eWriter.

We are excited to introduce this piece of technology into our classroom and thank you in advance for supporting our classroom and learning opportunities.
