My Project

Teaching my scholars about money and financial literacy is important. This project will help develop financial literacy through a classroom economy. The chips, cookies, bracelets, and toys will help enforce our classroom economy.

Scholars will have an understanding of how to earn money through classroom jobs, positive behavior and quality work.

They will then be able to use their earnings to buy things in our classroom store.

Being able to implement the classroom economy has helped my scholars show excitement for their successes, be held accountable for their actions and have real life applications to fully understand the concept of financial literacy. These items will keep our store stocked an ready for each week.

Ms. Long Trix Academy Grades PreK-2
