This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are tech-savvy, hardworking, creative, and have a passion for research and technology. Our classroom community is filled with individuals who are technology driven, my students get so thrilled to use technology in the classroom. These twenty-first century learners need to be equipped with the appropriate tools to be college and career ready. With technology, students can have differentiated work and be challenged at their academic level. My students need to have the appropriate tools to help them be researchers and critical thinkers of the twenty-first century.

My Project

In such a technology driven era, students need to be able to research beyond the walls of a classroom. My students are comfortable using consumer-ready technology but have a need to grow skills that make them creators of innovative technology. As we train our students to be successful in a competitive and global work place, it's imperative that we instruct them with the proper tools. Our classroom is in need of a Chromebook! Students will be using the Chromebook to work on Blended Learning programs such as ST Math, iReady, and AR reader. Our students will greatly benefit from having a Chromebook in the classroom!
