My students need a printer and ink to print out their research papers on civil rights leaders.
"Human Rights for everyone is the necessary foundation upon which all of us may build a world where everybody may live in peace and serenity and plenty." - Michael Douglas
My classroom is filled with bright and motivated 4th grade English Language Learners whom are eager to learn and expand their knowledge.
Unfortunately, my students come from a very low economic status and environment. Our school is also centrally located in one of the most economically depressed areas. My students like to utilize technology in their everyday learning. However, the community where my students reside does not provide them with many, if any, opportunities where they can utilize technology. However, this does not stop my students from setting goals and striving to achieve them.
Doing research on civil rights leaders will show my students that sometimes it only takes one person to make a difference. One does not have to be of the same race or nationality to be able to work as a team and make a significant difference in peoples' lives and the world.
The printer will allow my students to be able to print their research papers on civil rights leaders and movements. For their group projects, they will be able to print out articles and photos for their photo scrapbook.
The ink will allow my students to be able to print quality photo images to add to their scrapbooks. It will also facilitate printing their published written work.
The HP printer and ink will have a major impact on my students' learning.
These resources will assist in expanding my students' knowledge in writing skills, publishing, and editing. In addition, these resources can be used across the curriculum. Thank you for your continued support.
