Civics Boost Camp!

My Project

Our school year is half way over and that means it's time to start planning for our "Boost Camp" to get students ready to rock their end-of-course exam. While I dislike "teaching to the test", the information students learn throughout civics is something that will be useful to them throughout their lives, since they learn about the inner workings of our government and how to be a good citizen.

These supplies will help encourage students to attend one (or all) of the "Boost Camps" we offer, so that they can be successful on their state exam.

The ink and paper will be used to create card sorts and other materials needed for students to review with their peers. The Uno cards will be used for a fun review game. The snacks and candy will be used as incentives to participate in our camp and as prizes for completing the challenges we offer during the camps.

Many of our students benefit from these camps, as our scores have shown improvement since we have begun implementing them. The more supplies we have, the more students that can benefit.
