Circuit Sketchers (Part 3)

Help me give my students Chibitronics Sketchbooks, conductive tape, and LED stickers to learn how to use circuits in a fun and engaging way.

My Project

I want my kids to learn the basics of circuits and electronics with LED stickers, conductive tape and an interactive sketchbook, written by the Chibitronics inventor, Jie Qi. The sketchbook includes 5 project templates, including simple circuit, parallel circuit, DIY switch, blinking slide switch, DIY pressure sensor. After learning these circuitry basics, our students will be able to take these skills to a new level and create and code anything they want!

Chibitronics blends circuits and code with arts and crafts.

They have circuit stickers and other tools for educators, artists and crafters so everyone can create their own expressive electronics. This matches with our STEAM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math).

I learned about Chibitronics at the Infosys summer professional development and have enjoyed sharing my new circuitry learning with my classes. Computer science is such an engaging STEM lesson, and I can't wait to do more with my classes with these sketchbooks.
