Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What I truly love about students is that they each have their own unique personalities and once you get to know that child, you can't help but to love and treat them like your own. My students have hearts of gold and when I make that connection with them, then I know I did my job as a teacher. A lot of my students get excited to be at school because there's a lot that don't get to do fun activities at home. When they get to school they know they are going to do something fun and they light up when they do something exciting.

My Project

This will make a huge difference in my classroom by having room for them to sit down during the times I read to them. Right now we have a carpet but it's really small in size, so they are super close to each other when they are sitting next to each other and they look uncomfortable sitting so close. I know with this bigger carpet they would enjoy sitting down while I read. And not only while I read but while we discuss other things. It's bigger and would benefit my class so much. Thank you so much. Me and my class appreciate it!
