Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are wonderful, bubbly learners who are working hard to be successful. Each child has a different personality and need when it comes to our classroom, so we are trying to build a unique atmosphere for them.
Our students are the children of military personnel, farmers, and small business owners.
They are learning to work hard for what they want to achieve. Our school gives them a place to be nurtured and to grow their talents that they might be as successful as they dream to be.
My Project
These Chromebooks will be essential to the learning gains of our students. We have about ten students without access to internet at home and these Chromebooks will allow them to complete their online homework and assignments in class without penalty. Using Chromebooks in second grade will also teach our students responsibility, internet safety, and researching skills that they will need in order to be successful in the future!
Pairs of students will use these Chromebooks to complete research projects, create videos and PowerPoints, and use online programs purchased by the school.
Integrating technology into our classroom is integral to the success of America's Future!
