My students are eager to learn! They all come to school with their best attitudes ready for thinking and learning.
Each and everyone of them are like explores wanting to take an adventure into new learning opportunities.
These opportunities could come in various ways throughout the day with the help of technology.
They love to read the books on the shelves and play math board games. They work very well as a team with sharing what learning tools, games, and the computers we do have accessible. I have 2 that are very helpful in showing others how to access the internet. There are many strong leaders in this class. They are so encouraging to the shy and timid ones to express themselves. They are a very loving group!
They all love the outdoors and animals. Most of them live on small farms. Many are looking forward to winter in Montana. Crazy kids!
My students would love to have adventures outside the classroom! They love the times that we can use technology, even if in small doses, to learn at their own speed! They are a great group of kids that deserve to be given every opportunity to expand their horizons!
My Project
We are in a rural community where money for classroom funding is very limited. Chromebooks are very useful for the students to research new area's and creatures of the world.
My students would be able to access the learning material on line that is offered through our curriculum series.
Our math and reading programs are amazing at helping the students learn at their ability level. I have students who would benefit GREATLY from these chrome books because they would be able to be challenged academically. Our school does not have a gifted and talented program. There are many programs out there that would be beneficial if they had computers to use.
I have 4 chrome books for 18 students. This proves very difficult getting them all computer time. These students would be over the moon excited to have computers to learn on.
