My Students
My students range in different ages and academic abilities. Many are learning to speak, read and write English for the first time! My students put forth their best effort each and every day. They are motivated, hardworking students who are eager to use technology to further develop their skills.
Our district is committed to enhancing, advancing, and transforming the educational experience for our students.
Through a quality blended learning approach, I want to engage students with worthwhile, meaningful lessons and opportunities to learn through technology. These opportunities will help prepare my students to be productive, globally-engaged citizens.
My Project
The addition of Chromebooks to a classroom can offer endless educational opportunities to students. I specifically would like to utilize these Chromebooks in the area of Science because as mentioned earlier, many of my students are non-English speakers. The ability to access content both visually and auditorily makes educational content accessible to them.
Being able to stream videos of current events, animal habitats, and cultures from around the world will aid my students in becoming global citizens.
Additionally, applications available through Google Chrome will enhance my students' literary, visual arts, numeracy, and musical experiences, therefore changing their educational experience for the better.
