My Students

My students are an amazing group of motivated, enthusiastic 7th-9th graders. They come to school ready to participate, collaborate, and engage in their own learning.

My students embrace the opportunity to read, write, think, explore, and discover.

They recognize that learning is an active process, and that their own effort and motivation are the key to their continual growth and progress. These learners are empowered to not only learn core content and skills, but to contribute their own ideas and talents to the world around them.

My Project

These Chromebooks will be a valued and well-utilized addition to our English Language Arts classroom. It's critical that 21st Century students have the opportunity to use digital tools, and more importantly, to learn how to use them effectively. Consistent and equal access to computers in the classroom will enable my students to do more online research, publishing, and technology-based projects. Google Docs, blogs, and other online platforms will give them the opportunity to collaborate and showcase their work with a wider, more global audience. Struggling students will also benefit from online programs and tools to support their reading and writing growth. Classroom Chromebooks will truly make a difference in supporting the learning of my students. Thank you for your support!
