My students are ready to learn. They are faced with learning multiple new subjects this year and are anxious to rise to the challenge. They are excited to expand their knowledge and experiences.
They work, learn, and recreate in a close knit community.
They know that they matter to me and always do their best. Large class sizes provide unique challenges in teaching as well as learning. I am so proud of their willingness to take part in their own learning.

My students already know how to use the Chromebooks I am requesting.
I simply need your help to get them to us. Technology is a critical part of our learning.
Students need the opportunity to use Chromebooks at various times of the day, but more importantly, they need to use them EVERY day.
We have opportunities to use them during reading time where students can read passages and take quizzes to check comprehension. Chromebooks are essential during writing as we learn how to write various types of essays. Social studies is another subject that will be strengthened because of the ability Chromebooks will provide for my students to research information about countries and culture.
Providing my classroom with these devices will allow half of my students to use a Chromebooks while the other half is completing a separate assignment, then they can switch. This ensures that every student has a technological experience everyday. I am looking forward to provide each student with this opportunity.
