This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students amaze me every single day. Each day, these students make a decision to push themselves and do better than the day before.

These students are inspiring, hard-working, and have a strong desire to learn.

Each day is a blessing in my classroom as I spend time with them helping them to become the best learners they can be. As they learn and grow, they become more interested in everything around them and how the world works. Their passion and desire to learn inspires me each day to be a better teacher. Oftentimes, they are teaching me just as much as I am teaching them. I love learning from them, and I want so much to continue to see them grow and learn more every day!

My Project

My students love learning and using new technology. We have chosen three Chromebooks that will allow us to begin expanding our learning and using the time in our classroom to focus on new and exciting aspects of our learning.

This project is going to give my students access to a method of exploration and learning that they are not used to using.

Currently, we have very outdated equipment that often stops the students from getting to explore and research many of the topics they are interested in.

These students have the most amazing thirst for knowledge but are often unable to quench that thirst.

Using these new Chromebooks, they can research and explore to their heart's content. This will also give those students who struggle with writing and telling their stories, a new way to communicate with their classmates and parents. The impact these computers will have on my students is inconceivable. This will bring them so much joy and closer to places that they only thought they could visit in their dreams.
