My Students

Located in Anaheim, CA our middle school provides a safe environment for 7th and 8th graders. We pride ourselves with rigorous academics and amazing kind students and parents. Our Social Studies department is seeking to continue to prepare our students for success in high school and beyond. We are hoping to do this with increasing technology in our department, and for ALL students, by trying to acquire 10 Chromebooks in each history classroom. Chromebooks will allow for research in the classroom and enhance our students' critical thinking skills.

My Project

My students are some of the most caring, intellectual, and inquisitive people I know. Daily they surprise me with their interest in learning about the world around them. These students inspire me to be a better teacher and to create more challenging and relevant lessons and assignments. Simply put - my students are the BEST! I am excited for this year and I am excited to see how these students are going to use technology in new ways in order to connect the past to the present. My hope is that with some more added technology students will establish more critical thinking skills that will help them not only do better with state testing but it will also help them be more ready to face high school and beyond!
