My Students

I have the privilege of educating a diverse group of students. These students have varying abilities and come from different backgrounds, but they all strive for an environment that is conducive for learning. Our school is a small but historical school in our school district and we are proud of our history.

We use alternative seating in my classroom to allow students to work in the most conducive manner for each individual.

This encourages my students to achieve individual greatness by emphasizing their individuality.

My Project

Students will use these Chromebooks daily in my classroom. These Chromebooks will assist in helping my students to take charge and build independence during their own learning, which is crucial to building the deepest learning.

This project will allow me to build an exploratory library to allow my students to work through math, science, and reading concepts through engaging and educational resources.

We use Google Classroom, computer research, website building, and creating collages to help show our learning. Through these resources, my students will be able to build presentations and research projects to build a deeper meaning of our science, math, and reading standards. This project will also increase our ability to become more familiar with technology and expand our school goal to become a more globally connected classroom by allowing us to work with students from all around the world.

Students who are comfortable and familiar with the use of technology are not as intimated using it in their daily lives as they enter into the real-world. The addition of this technology will allow my students a much needed boost of practice in these areas.
