My Students

Every morning, my students start out the day by singing our class song. This prepares them for the day by reminding them why they come to school and what they hope to accomplish this year.

My students come from all over the county by choice to attend our school.

While it would be more convenient to walk down the block to their neighborhood school, my students have a thirst for learning which they are able to quench by going further out of their way. These students are dedicated to their education, to being leaders, and to learning and growing together.

My Project

My students need a computer lab with 30 Samsung Chromebook computers and computer operating software. It will provide my students, as well as other students in our school, the opportunity to expand their knowledge in every subject. They will use the computers for research, to create polished reports and projects, and to work together with other students on group activities.

These chromebooks will expand student opportunities for learning by providing information through the use of programs that may otherwise not be available to them.

It will also help them develop their typing and computer technology skills. Not all students have computers at home. Their exposure to them at school will better prepare them for the future in many ways.
