Using Chromebooks in kindergarten is great for learning. They can be an excellent way to teach most things in the classroom.
My students are awesome!
They make me feel so appreciated. They always make me smile and laugh. They love to use technology. It provides them with many interactive learning experiences and gets them excited and engaged about learning. Chromebooks are a fantastic device for use in the classroom.
Every day I look forward to integrating technology with my students. Our school is located in Atlanta. We currently serve students in grades prekindergarten through fifth. We are a Title 1 school within an urban high poverty school district.
Using Chromebooks in kindergarten allows my students to become successful digital learners. There are so many different things that my students can do with Chromebooks. They can help prepare them for an increasingly digital workforce, engage in interactive lessons, and develop higher order thinking skills.
Chromebooks can be a powerful learning tool that enhances and reinforces the curriculum. There are so many different things that my students can do with Chromebooks. They will have access to a variety of online applications to practice and reinforce the skills we are working on. They can practice reading, writing, and math skills in centers. In Language Arts, they can listen to stories being read aloud on the internet or record their own stories on the Chromebooks. Math concepts such as shapes and numbers can be extended with the use of Chromebooks. Students can visit science websites to bring scientific lessons to life such as learning about habitats.
