My Students

We are an older, Title I school with about 600 students. Our class is part of a school-wide shift to STEM and STEAM this year. This will be an exciting year for us!

We will be partnering with AZ SciTech to bring STEM into our classrooms.

These materials will help our diverse learners grow through the use of technology.

The students we have are from families that have been at our school for many generations. Teachers, staff, parents and grandparents all work together to make sure we have an environment that promotes pride in our school and a love of learning.

My Project

Kindergartners need Chromebooks to have access to the limitless educational resources available to them on the internet. This will allow them the chance to research a variety of topics and watch relevant videos to clarify new concepts. They will be able to work with their peers through collaboration. Project based learning is facilitated through Internet research by making connections in the real world.

By donating to this project, you are helping make sure every child has the opportunity to use technology to further their learning, work collaboratively with their peers, and meet their individual learning needs.

Computer literacy is a necessity for furthering their education and to ensure academic success.
