My Students

My students come from a diverse range of backgrounds and have a variety of learning needs that I aim to support each day. In both my English and French classes, the students are highly engaged, critical thinkers who are ready to explore the world around them.

A lack of technology should never be a roadblock to learning.

My goal with this project is to make sure that all of my students have what they need to be successful in my classroom.

My Project

In an English classroom, chromebook computers are constantly used for student writing, allowing them to write essays, analyze texts and explore the literary world in a variety of ways.

Often times, students without access to technology suffer in the classroom, despite their enthusiasm and desire to do well.

I am hoping that by adding 5 additional chromebooks to our classroom, all students will have the access that they need.

We use computers on a nearly daily basis, especially when writing essays. Everything from brainstorming to the peer editing process takes place on computers, allowing students to easily share work with each other and invest real time into their writing.
