My students have high standards and expectations. Some of my students are highly motivated and some need bright / shinny new things to help keep them motivated. My students enjoy using technology as much as possible. This school year I am teaching a new class with a new online textbook. Which means I'm trying to make the classroom a little "greener". Students will be encouraged to use the online textbook instead of a heavy bar coded textbook. Thus, it will be important for students to have access to their textbook during class time. This technology will help keep the book room less crowded and students more engaged.
This project will allow my students to experience math in fun ways and empower them to participate and learn.
All students will be able to view the resources that the publisher has established, take assessments online, and communicate with other students enrolled in the same class.
My Project
These Chromebooks will be shared with at least 3 teachers and at least 5 different classes (approximately 130 students) each day. My students come from a variety of social - economic back grounds.
Classroom materials update - It's that time again, when we need to evaluate what our students needs to provide the best learning opportunities.
We need a few more Chromeboooks to help facilitate students' learning. Chromebooks will help my student gain access to their Google email account, share docs / sheets / slides for group projects, gain access to online textbooks, complete online assessments, and gain access to various websites for enrichment.
