My Students

This class of learners is full of some of the most unique individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They all bring something different to our classroom and I am so thankful for each and every one of them.

Each and every one of these students has GRIT.

It is a topic we have discussed at length this year. Many of these kiddos receive a free or reduced-price lunch and have experienced many hardships at home. I admire their perseverance and determination to not let anything stand in their way.

My Project

We have very limited technology access at our school and these two Chromebooks will allow my students to work on their computer skills throughout the year. They will practice typing their essays, create PowerPoints, conduct research projects, and overall build their technology skills.

Many of these students do not have access to computers at home so I want to give them the opportunity to practice working with them as much as possible in the classroom.

Having more exposure to the basics of computers and typing will drastically help when it comes to Standardized Testing. I am so excited to see this group of kiddos benefit from having computers in our classroom by being more confident when it comes to State Testing.
