My Students

After just two weeks of school, my school was evacuated and relocated to another building. My current classroom has NO computers that stay in the room at all times. My students need permanent laptops in the room in order to work on papers, research different content online, and check grades.

We are a public school that serves a diverse population of students in grades 6-12.

We are a college preparatory school that is focused on setting high standards for each of our students, by creating a challenging yet engaging curriculum for all students.

My Project

Many of our students do not have laptops or computers at home. As a result, school is the only place many are able to access them. By placing laptops in my classroom, students will have that ability to use technology, in order to further advance in today's society.

My students need technology in their every day lives.

While most have smartphones, they lack the skills to use every day programs that are found on computers. My students need laptops in their classroom, in order to advance their skills, and be better prepared for college.
