My Students

This is my second year teaching, and first year teaching 3rd grade. I have a great group of students this year that choose to work really hard. Due to the shut down from covid, these students missed the end of first grade. Half of my class came into third grade far behind where they should have been. It's been a hard year to keep them motivated and get them caught up but they are optimistic students and are persevering to reach their third grade goals.

We have a positive classroom community and work to include each student.

We focus on learning to have a growth mindset and lifting each other up. We work together to collaborate and discuss solutions to our problems.

My Project

I would love to allow my student to have one to one ratio of computers to students. This would allow all students to work on technology at the same time. Having more computers would also allow students to all take tests through Mastery Connect at the same time. This would elevate students having to work on other things while they wait for a computer to become available. I would also love to incorporate more technology into the classroom. With more computers in class this would allow me to do just that.
