My Students
My students are 5 and 6 years old and love to be on the move all day long. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but they are all full of energy and ready to learn. Our school motto is to show PRIDE in everything we do, and my kids always try their best.
I teach at a STEM school, and my students are ready to explore and learn new things through inquiry and movement each day.
Some of my students are in school for the first time, and they are all so full of energy. As their teacher, I love to take that energy and direct it into meaningful learning activities instead of making them sit still all day.
My Project
These Chromebooks are going to give my students the opportunity to participate in interactive activities across all subjects including science, literacy, math, and more. We will be able to use them to enhance our coding and computer programming lessons as well.
My students currently use iPads that are outdated and keep us from using our learning programs to their greatest capacity but these Chromebooks could change that.
Chromebooks are the perfect format for kindergarteners because they are light and simple to use. Many of my students come to kindergarten without ever using a computer before so these will be a great way to introduce them to this type of technology.
