This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are wonderful. They are hard working and love to learn. My students are involved in all school activities, community activities and charitable volunteering. These students are inquisitive and anxious to learn all they can in each of their core classes. My students love to do research and read about issues, people, and experiences that interest them. Research increases their background knowledge and allows them to have interesting discussions in the classroom. Seventh and eighth grade students are an interesting group to be around.

My Project

I would like to have this chromebook in my classroom to allow my students time to research and create presentations. Many students do not have access to computers at home and come to my class needing to type a report, prepare a presentation, or continue research on their topic. I like to be able to offer them a solution to this problem, by having the technology available in my classroom. Students would be able to use this chromebook before class, during class, and during their academic enrichment/tutoring period. My goal is to have a classroom set of 30 chromebooks. Help me reach my goal.
