My Students

My students lack daily access to technology resources that could otherwise elevate them to greater academic success. My kids are a diverse group of eager learners from all backgrounds. They love engaging material and content that in-class technology can deliver. My students should have access to the technology tools they will be expected to heavily use and rely upon when they make their way into higher education as well as the working world as contributing young adults.

My Project

I would like to procure a class set of chromebooks for my kids so that every time they step into my classroom to learn, each student has a chromebook available to them.

We rely heavily on our online Learning Management System called Schoology where we maintain our assignments and grades.

When I have technology available, I leverage Google-based assignments and also use other learning platforms the students love like Gimkit, Kahoot, Quizlet, Pear Deck and Nearpod.

The students are always more engaged and enthusiastic when working on projects using these online educational resources and I'd like to be able to provide them access to these learning tools and opportunities on a daily basis.
