Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have 24 energetic, busy first graders. They come from a variety of diverse experiences and backgrounds. My classroom encourages active hands-on learning through centers and activities. We explore differentiated activities to learn mathematics, reading, science and history.
I want to give my students every opportunity to excel and be the best they can be.
Each and every student is unique in their learning process. I would like to have as many tools available to help reach each and every one.
My Project
Chromebooks will give us an opportunity to learn technology skills while reinforcing our reading and writing skills. We will be able to learn how to use technology to safely research topics. We will be able to report our information creatively using tools from Google applications.
The Chromebooks will help my students jump start the development of the technological skills they will utilize during their lifetime.
We have multiple programs available that help us with reading and mathematical skills. These Chromebooks will allow us to access those more frequently to see their benefits. We will be able to use Google classroom more effectively, as well.
