My Students

I teach a group of regular education, special education, and ESL students. This group of students are a diverse group of learners from a range of backgrounds. Many of my students are from the refugee population. In order to meet my students needs, I integrate Personalized Learning, Project Based Learning and STEAM based activities into my classroom on a daily basis. My students enjoy using voice and choice to select activities and assignments that not only interest them, but enhance their learning on an individual basis. Chromebooks allow learners to utilize Google Docs, Google Classroom, and Google Slides.

My Project

By having Chromebooks in the classroom, the students will be able to utilize them on a daily basis across all subject areas without having to leave the classroom. The Chromebooks will provide the performance and flexibility for a wide range of learning activities so students are more engaged in their learning while demonstrating greater mastery of 21st-century skills. Chromebooks in the classroom provide an infinite number of online texts and interactive tools as well as a range of dynamic web based applications. The Chromebooks allow for individual use or for group projects. They support research, provide visual arts media opportunities, and collaboration among learners.
