Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have the most amazing 7th & 8th-grade students! My students make me laugh every single day, sometimes so hard that I cry! Learning should be engaging and fun - and in my classroom, it's positive, fun, welcoming and energetic!
My students amaze me every day with the amount of passion and drive they have in hopes of creating a better future for themselves and others.
Our students strive for success, but do not always have access to valuable technology that could solidify and deepen their knowledge and skills. Despite the hardships that are beyond their control, they are always are eager to learn and do their best every day. I'd love to provide all of my students with access to technology during the school day to strengthen their skills and access content in new, personalized and authentic ways.
My Project
These Chromebooks will allow all students in my classes access to a device whenever the need. With technology for all students on an everyday basis, we can go beyond the limits of the class walls. We will create a personalized learning environment where students have voice and choice. Our school has a "Bring Your Own Technology" policy, however, a majority of our students come from low-income families and have no technology at home to bring to school.
Every student will be able to experience the world around them through technology.
Technology will allow my students to have access to a multitude of real-life examples in science.
