My Students

Our students are bright, plucky, and wonderful. They live and come to school in a high-poverty rural community, but that doesn’t stop them from being witty, happy, and eager to share stories about their latest adventures outside of school.

I sincerely want what is best for our students at Griggsville-Perry Middle School.

We lack the resources that many larger, more affluent districts are able to provide that improve student learning engagement and academic outcomes. We believe that by being able to offer more Chromebooks, our teacher planning and our student outcomes will improve!

My Project

I hope that through offering more Chromebooks to have available for student learning, our teachers will be able to plan lessons that spotlight technology integration, student collaboration, research, and serve to engage students more heavily in the learning process.

Currently, we do not have enough devices for our teachers to truly lesson plan with tech integration in mind.

Our school's vision is to have teachers create more engaging lesson experiences. We also want our students to engage with technology in order to prepare them for success as they head into a technology-laden world. Please help us put those tools into their hands!
