My Students

My students are a diverse range of high school students, including recent immigrants, students of color, and working-class backgrounds. Many will be the first in their family to attend college and lack the resources to purchase their own devices.

I've found that using technology allows my students to explore, conjecture, and not be afraid of just asking themselves "I wonder what would happen if..."

My Project

My classroom contains a diverse group of high school students, both ethnically and economically. With the recent onset of shelter in place, many of them lack a workable laptop to effectively access distance learning. Current models for distance learning "best practices" don't take access sufficiently into account!

Your support means that I can check out a Chromebook to a student for the remainder of the shelter in place edict, which may be extended until the end of the current school year.
