Help me give my students the opportunity to learn through technology. My English language Learners can benefit from listening to applications such as abcya and shepards software on the Chromebooks.

Our school is currently listed as a Title I school in Dekalb County School District. A Title I, Elementary holds high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families. Though our students come from low income families they are scholars. My students are English Language Learners most are refugee and have parents that have come to America for a better life for their children. Students need the opportunity to learn through technology since they are growing up in a culture that technology is used often. Students must use technology to take MAP testing and Unit testing. In providing students access to learn through technology daily students would benefit in increasing scores on both MAP and Unit testing. Technology is the new way of learning and my students deserve the opportunity to have the same advantages as other students which are not in a low economic community.

The community can aid and help to ensure that all our young scholars meet challenging state academic standards through giving students access to technology. Technology can be used to provide support for through various websites such as abcya, abcmouse as well as other various websites that support students learning of literature. Learning not only takes place with a teacher providing a lesson in the front of the class but also through different experiences. Our students are scholars that will benefit from leaving the four walls of the classroom and using technology such as chromebooks to access English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science Standards to life. Our kindergarten scholars will be able to use the technology of the Chromebooks to put into practice and support our young which can open doors to endless possibilities which they can apply as they mature.
