Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My wonderful first graders are so creative and love to learn in extraordinary ways. This year our school is growing and our first-grade classes will be in portables. Currently, we are paired up in a temporary classroom until our portable is finished.
I am so lucky and thankful to help foster a love for learning for my little ones.
Building relationships with each student and their parents/guardians is very important to make the student feel comfortable and safe in their classroom. Hands on and interactive learning is a great way to help each student learn in their own special way. We're excited to have a great year full of adventures!
My Project
Right now, we are in a temporary portable classroom before we are relocated to our own portable. We do not have technology in the portables as of right now. These Chromebooks will be very helpful with small group learning. Since they are light and portable, students will be able to work where they are most comfortable.
Technology is used every day and all around us.
We are moving towards digital classrooms in our school district. Little by little I would like to provide a Chromebook for each of my students. They will be used throughout all the subjects. The Chromebooks are also an easy way to keep all the documents together.
