Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students need 5 Chromebooks to help embrace and integrate technology in the classroom. I have 17 students who are eager to learn and willing to try, but they have odds stacked against them to succeed.
Our school is an urban school district.
99% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of my students are more than a grade level behind in reading, and/or language learners, and don't have access to internet and/or computers at home. The Chrome Books will help my students learn how to use technology to compete academically with suburban district and be better prepared for standardized tests and college readiness. No donation is too small!
My Project
My students need 3 chromebooks to help them embrace and enhance technology in our classroom. This will let them explore their true potential and prepare them for 21st century skills.
My students are eager to learn and I need chromebooks to help them achieve more success.
I hope to increase the exposure my students have to technology by having 3 chromebooks available in my classroom for daily centers in math. During math, my students would be able to rotate through the facts fluency center by practicing math games and district mandated programs such as TenMarks. They will also be able to answer math word problems on the chromebooks.
