Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is filled with inquisitive students who are always ready to learn. They are challenged with complex tasks daily and are eager to apply their math and science skills to everyday life. While many of my students struggle to learn the English language, they all put forth as much effort as they can so they can feel proud of their accomplishments by the end of each day. My students represent all types of backgrounds, socio-economic levels, various learning styles and abilities.
As the population in the area keeps getting larger, class sizes keep growing and growing.
I do not want students to get lost in the mix, but rather feel the importance of being an individual with what they have to offer to our learning community. My goal is to make my classroom fully digital to enhance their experience and have each student motivated to continue learning.
My Project
Our curriculum is always changing and that requires us to integrate technology into our learning. To keep up with the interests of students, different tools are needed. Having chromebooks in our classroom would help tremendously with interacting with new material. Not only would these chromebooks benefit students by increasing their interest, but they will allow students to extend their research in various subjects.

Students will be able to access STEAM related tasks and improve the understanding of specific topics through technology. Using website such as Khoot, Class Dojo, Canvas, Xtramath, Study Jams, I-Ready, and Project Based Learning can help students gain the skills they need to be successful in their academics.
