My Students

My Second Graders are sweet, fun, energetic and eager to learn. They enjoy all aspects of learning, but they especially love math and reading groups.

Students are expected to work independently, with a teacher, or get on the computer.

They really enjoy getting on the computer during reading and math groups because it is a fun way to practice and review various skills. However, there are not many computers, so my students only get on the computer for about 30 minutes each week.

My Project

Donations to this project will allow my students to get on the computer multiple times during the week. Students will be able to work on various websites, like Zearn, Moby Max, Read Theory, Sum Dog, Typing Club, and other fun Math and Reading websites. All of the websites students work on are fun and interactive. These sites allow students to practice reading and math skills. It is vital that students get to use a computer multiple times throughout the week because many of the test they take throughout the year are on the computer and the more they use the computer, the more comfortable they will become with using and navigating them. I am requesting 2 Chromebook computers to increase our classroom technology.
