My Students

The students at this school are very eager to learn! I have never before seen such an excited bunch of kids, so curious about the world and enthusiastic to explore and understand it.

Pinecrest Academy has a community culture, where teachers, students, and parents are encouraged to work together in order to care for each other and help each other grow.

This school and the wonderful students within represent the best of the human experience in which learning is not considered a privilege or a chore, but a natural part of who we are.

My Project

Our school requires students to complete multiple learning programs on the computer and having some Chromebooks available for their use will enable them to do so. Furthermore, they will be able to work on research projects and simultaneously improve their computer literacy.

My dream is to have the students do a research project on different kinds of alternate energy and then make an argument about which would be best for where we live.

The alternate energy series in addition to a couple of Chromebooks would make such a project possible not just for this class, but for many of my classes in the future.
