My Students

As a first grade teacher, I have a varied population with many ethnicities and a wide range of demographics. Along with that, comes different students at different levels, all coming in with different backgrounds. Teaching this grade level has many rewards, as well as many challenges to meet their needs.

The goal of my students is to teach them self-esteem with much positive reinforcement.

My students are very caring and thus, we have formed a wonderful, kind environment for learning.

My students have their basic reading and writing skills and my goal is to see how far I can push them in those areas. By making education fun, the students learn so much better. Preparing them socially and educationally is most rewarding.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my classroom because by starting at a young age, this will only increase their ability to perform well with future technology, since this is the way of our future. It is also important for all students to have the ability to work on a Chromebook.

This would help me as a teacher, with both instruction and engagement.

By providing me with these seven Chromebooks, I would be able to align my lessons by incorporating more technology. Additionally, it would give the students an opportunity to expand their horizons by discovery on their own.
