My middle school students are a talented, energetic, forward-thinking, and all around amazing kids. I have the honor of teaching the next generation of leaders. Every child I teach is capable, full of talent, skilled, and bursting with potential; they just need motivation, support, and access to the best technology and services I can give them.
My students are the next generation of future leaders and world shapers.
Out of my 80 students, each one learns differently; each one is unique in the way they perceive and break-down information. Whether we are covering writing skills, verbal skills, or vocabulary skills, each student has their own take on it and tackles it with passion and fidelity. They are ambitious, driven kids with the enthusiasm to learn the skills needed to be independent thinkers. They will take the world on with true confidence and conviction and make their visions of the future come true.
My classroom fosters a community of support and love that will help them achieve their goals. They carry this over into their everyday lives. They stay active and involved in the community and look forward to being productive members of their community and the world someday.
Our goal is to have the Chromebook ratio in the classroom equal 1:1. Each student deserves to have access to technology. Technology plays such a vital role in our world today, therefore it is integral to our students' success to integrate those concepts and practices into our classroom studies. We use our Chromebooks in the classroom almost daily. They are used for Accelerated Reading testing, access to Google Classroom to complete assignments, students' emails, information and data collection, and of course for testing. My goal is to bring this technology access to every student in my class. I want every student to learn through the use of technology for a brighter tomorrow!!
