My students are a great group of students who are filled with a lot of energy. My students are a mixture of Brooklyn natives and recent immigrants to the country. My students enjoy being challenged and working with technology in the classroom.
Most of my students come from impoverished, low-income households and all of my students qualify for free lunch.
This is why we need support in obtaining supplies to support student their academic growth and ensure that their futures are bright!
My Project
Many of my students come to the classroom as recent immigrants to the country. Many of them have not had the basic exposure to computer technology which can be a huge disadvantage living in America in the 21st century. I believe it is our job to prepare our students with academic and technical skills for their future success.
Chromebooks will allow them to approach all subject matter, including math and science, through the usage of computer technology.
This daily exposure across classroom content over a four year period will support their academic and technical skill development making them ready for future college and careers.
