My students need 2 Chromebooks in order to have a place to edit their films and share and store their video, pictures and audio recordings in a safe and secure place.
This project expired on August 15, 2014.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students want to experience the joy and creative thinking that goes into creating their very own film. That is why THEY want to start the very first film festival at our school.
The students are mostly kids who want to express themselves creatively and do not have that many opportunities at our school, especially when it comes to film.
They have developed a love for learning and want to take that love outside the traditional classroom and have come up with this idea on their own. They come from an extremely rural county that schools are Title I where 75% to 80% of the students are receiving free or reduced price lunch.
The students will use the Chromebooks to store and share all of their videos, audio recordings, and pictures with one another and have a place to edit their films. This is what we are missing right now. Most of the equipment we have is based on donations from other teachers and myself, but we need a place for the students to work that is not beaten down by time.
The students want this club and want to allowed to be creative.
So many arts are being dropped from schools and our school is no different. Please help give this opportunity to the kids.
