I teach in a 3rd grade classroom located in Ayden, North Carolina. While my students come to school with many needs, they truly grow to love school because they are in an environment where their opinion and voice matters.
My students are my driving force.
They are what keeps me going and loving what I do. Their joy and desire to learn is present the second they walk in the classroom. Despite whatever obstacles may be going on in their lives, they come to school and want to be there. My goal in my classroom is to ensure that my students go home every day knowing they are so deeply loved. My students are the reason I wake up in the morning. Their love and tender spirits give me the drive to be the best teacher I can be. My students deserve the best because they are the best.
My Project
When I started teaching, I had no idea that my classroom would have 25 different students with 25 different needs! I felt overwhelmed that it was my responsibility to meet each of these students needs! Through the past year of teaching, I have learned that I cannot do it all but I have found many different systems to help me reach all these learners!
Having these chromebooks will help me reach my students on their varying needs.
When working with other students in a one-on-one setting, I can ensure that other student's time is beneficial and meeting their individual needs with a chromebook.
With chromebooks, I can log students on to a variety of different websites that will work to identify areas each student is struggling and work to target that area they are struggling in. These chromebooks will be a huge asset in ensuring that I am meeting all of my different learners needs and working towards all of their learning goals as efficiently as possible!
