The 3rd-5th grade students in the Gifted Education program thrive with hands-on learning. As the Gifted Education specialist, my goal is to nurture my students' creativity and love of learning through innovative projects.
My students are gifted and talented kids who need to develop their computer science and 21st century skills.
Our school is in Las Vegas and is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. For over a decade our school has been a place where students come first. We have a strong community of hard working students and dedicated families.
My Project
Our changing world requires 21st century computer skills. As an educator, I want to see my students’ develop these essential skills. The 10 Chromebooks will enable my students to begin developing their computer literacy, both individually and in small groups. The Chromebooks will be used to aide in student learning through research, creating presentations, online collaboration, robotics and more.
Gifted and talented students learn at an accelerated pace, and one thing that can help them succeed is access to technology.
My goal is to provide each of my students with every advantage for success, not only in my classroom, but beyond.
