My Students

My students are very energetic and love to learn. When they master a new skill they get so excited. This is why I wanted to teach!

Our school is a low-income school.

We have students who receive Friday backpacks of food and free or reduced-price lunch. Our school is small but we have a lot of students in small classrooms. My students love to work on computers be we currently do not have student computers in our classroom. I would like to be able to provide them with a couple of laptops to use in our classroom.

My Project

We currently do not have student computers in our classrooms so we all have to go to the computer lab to use computers, and not every child likes to sit at a computer. I would like to give my students another center option to use computers during our center times or for my kids who are fast finishers to have something extra to supplement what we are learning in class.

I currently use two different reading apps that I would like for my students to be able to work on in their free time.

If we get the chromebooks I would be able to use the apps more often because we wouldn't have to leave our classroom to go to the lab.
