Help me give my students a Chromebook so that they can continue learning while they are at home.

My scholars are modern day super heroes! And just like a good comic book, they have amazing abilities and skills that make them all wonderful and unique! However, just like every hero or heroine whose story we have fallen in love with and enjoyed, they have challenges, struggles, and long paths to success, that are often littered with uphill battles! My scholars come from diverse urban communities, all over the Baltimore area, and many travel an hour or more daily, on public transportation, to fulfill their academic commitment to attend our school on the west side of the city! Many of these families face low income challenges, thus making it difficult at times to make ends meet, especially extra resources for school.
I respect and admire my students so much for the perseverance the show and challenges they overcome every day!
Many of them face daily challenges that make my daily worries seem trivial. Yet they still get up, come to school, and handle their business everyday! Please consider contributing to my project to help best facilitate my scholars in this educational journey and aid them in becoming the most Career and College Ready Scholars that they can possibly be!
With our current situation, students are learning through remote instruction. Fortunately, companies around us are helping with hot spots, so they can access the internet. Unfortunately, many of our students do not have the devices necessary to access the internet.
Help me make remote instruction equitable for our students.
By donating to this project, you will be giving students an opportunity to learn proper grammar, read amazing e-books, apply math concepts, learn about history and the government, visualize science, follow along with physical education videos, and so much more! They will be able to access their Google Classrooms, ask their teachers questions in real-time, and go on websites like Gen
i-Revolution, an online personal finance game, to increase their understanding of financial literacy or PhET for access to simulations to learn about science phenomena, among many others.
When we return to regular instruction, this Chromebook will be used in the classroom for research, projects, and more!
